TOP TAKEAWAYS:
In the decade since Xi Jinping came to power in China, the CCP has been employing an intensive “Red Education” campaign to militarize and brainwash Chinese children starting at pre-school age (2-3 years).
The CCP’s counterespionage education encourages young children to report on their family members, which was a method used during Mao Zedong’s cultural revolution. Dr. Yan describes this as evil and tragic.
Xi Jinping places heavy emphasis on a strong military as part of the “Chinese dream” of a great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. China’s People’s Liberation Army is instilled with absolute loyalty to Xi Jinping and the CCP. Dr. Yan describes Xi Jinping’s “China Dream” as national socialism with an element of racism — or “Nazism.”
Part of Xi’s great rejuvenation includes bringing Taiwan under the control of the CCP. The U.S. position on Taiwan’s independence is the source of China’s increasing militarism and aggression towards the U.S.
Dr. Yan compares Xi’s Red Education campaign to the education she received as a child, which included an emphasis on red culture (including stories, songs and games) and on discipline, but was less intensive than the education is in Chinese schools today and did not include military training.
Red education, according to Dr. Yan, is a national strategy and is conducted in every aspect of children’s lives. Five and six-year-old children are taught to wear the PLA uniform and to march, shout slogans, and practice military-style discipline when they make their beds.
Kindergarteners are also taught to use hand grenades, to clean pistols, and to mimic shooting weapons including the M4 carbine and the Barrett M95 bolt-action rifle. Children are taught to idolize the PLA soldier.
Dr. Yan describes red education as a systematic and thorough brainwashing to make children absolutely obedient, loyal, and consumable “like the bullet.” She describes in detail how red education manipulates children’s emotions, especially loyalty and hatred.
Skepticism and critical thinking are not permitted. Asking questions can trigger punishment, including forms of humiliation.
Teachers are pressured to write articles on their knowledge of Xi’s thought, and must pass rigorous assessments of their own work. Their holidays and free time must also be devoted to promoting the CCP.
Dr. Yan compares militarism in Chinese schools to that of ISIS. She describes textbooks and Android apps for children, ostensibly to teach Arabic letters and language, but the content of the lessons include jihadist themes such as how to use a hand grenade to kill infidels.
Religious freedom does not exist in China. Dr. Yan explains that the churches in China provide only a modified version of religious instruction, combined with nationalist themes.

CCP’s Red Kindergartens Cultivate Future Militarists
Aug 24, 2023
Voice of Dr. Yan — Podcast Episode and Report
Complete transcript follows:
(0:28)
In this episode I’m going to talk about XI Jinping’s China […] and CCP’s new militarism in the new era. Especially how the CCP brainwashed the kids in the kindergartens to make them receive the red education, the military education and to cultivate them to be future communist warriors.
(0:55)
Also I’m going to talk about how China is using counterespionage education to encourage kids in kindergarten to report their family members, their parents, and this is a very evil way which has been used in the cultural revolution in 1960s to 1970s by Chairman Mao Zedong in China and caused a lot of tragedies.
(1:23)
So first off I want to say, based on Xi Jinping’s thought, what is the military’s role in CCP’s regime to achieve the China dream?
In 2015, which is around 2 to 3 years of Xi Jinping’s presidency, in the national defense guidance strategy it says clearly — let me quote: “It is the Chinese dream of achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. The Chinese dream is to make the country strong, Chinese armed force take their dream of making the military strong as part of the Chinese dream. Without a strong military a country can be neither safe nor strong.
(2:12)
In the new historic period, aiming that CCP’s goal of building a strong military in the new situation, China’s armed force will unswervingly adhere to the principal of the CCP’s absolute leadership; uphold combat effectiveness as a sole and fundamental standard; carry on their glorious traditions; and work on build themselves into a people’s military that follow’s CCP’s command - confront and win. And boast a front style of work.
(2:51)
Let’s remove those fancy words. So what does it mean? It means under Xi Jinping’s instruction in the past 10 years, China has been building a powerful military. And this military will be totally loyal to CCP and Xi Jinping. So, this is militarism in the new era.
(3:16)
As I have talked in a previous episode of the Voice of Dr. Yan, Xi Jinping’s China dream actually is a […] way to describe national socialism. Which is known as Nazism. Moreover the combination of the extreme nationalism with rejuvenation by all in China has clearly demonstrated fascist essence of Xi Jinping’s CCP regime.
(3:45)
To make sure everyone in China remember and get brainwashed by Xi Jinping’s thought. This whole idea of the military and the country, the militarism has become one slogan. The slogan is necessary to build a strong military, to make the country strong. You can see CCP slogan everywhere in China, not only in the military but also in the media.
(4:12)
In the residential areas, in the school[s], I mean everywhere. For example, on 1st August of this year, People’s Liberation Army has released one article on People’s Liberation Army Daily — which is their official media — entitled “It is necessary to build a strong military to make the country strong.”
(4:36)
It talks about the new science, new knowledge, new experience in the military after again and again overall deeply study Xi Jinping thought on the military. And, consistent with CCP strategy, in this article it also describes the United States as their enemy.
(4:57)
So it says, on 2nd August 2022, which is one year ago, the People’s Liberation Army eastern theater has conducted joint exercises undersea to intimidate, strictly to intimidate America on the Taiwan issue. And so the, again, emphasis is to anti-Taiwan independence. This is about the unification of China, and then this is of course related to CCP’s great rejuvenation.
(5:30)
And this is just one example of China’s anti-Americanism. This is not [a] surprise because after the pandemic, three years ago, the intensive relationship between China and the U.S. has made China become more and more aggressive. And China always blames the United States for the intensive relationship.
(6:00)
In fact, it is because Americans started to realize CCP’s evilness, and also start to fight back against Chinese Communist Party. So CCP needs to give this response to create their justness and also to combat their further strategy against America.
(6:22)
Since we have talked about militarism, the definition of militarism is culled from the theoretical opinion of people who hope that a country or state should use its military progress to seize power and achieve its objectives. And the people who have this kind of militarism idea is called militarists.
(6:48)
And the most important [thing] to militarists is discipline. It means to follow a set of rules, and also means training that follows such rules. And back to communist China, discipline and militarism has been indoctrinated since our childhood. And such education goes on all our lives in China.
(7:14)
However it’s not always the same intensive. For example, back to my childhood, in 1980s to 1990s, at that time we do learn the red culture, red stories, and also we are trained to be disciplined. But it’s just a part of the routine education. And back to that period, CCP is more focusing on how to improve the economy in China, how to make more diplomatic relationship all over the world, and also they pretend to be Americans’ friend at that time.
(7:50)
So that’s why it was really not intensive compared to what happened in China now. Especially since the end of 2015, the 18th National Congress, CCP emphasized importance and the meaning of the education of nationalism as well as the national defense. Which means the militarism.
(8:16)
It’s a national strategy to educate kids from childhood to be militarists. So the change of education gradually happened, from the kindergarten. And there is one report from the Beijing government in 2016, the minister of the department of defense went to the kindergarten and the primary school in Beijing, when there was the Beijing government high ranking officers, even the deputy mayor of Beijing, to evaluate this kind of defense education and also give the instruction of the defense education in the kindergarten and also primary schools.
(9:01)
And according to the minister’s speech, it says, the strong internal power should be cultivated from childhood, and kids must love the country and love the People’s Liberation Army. And so this kind of patriotic defense education must become conducted in every aspect in the childrens’ life. So that’s why the teaching in the kindergarten is very important.
(9:30)
And also the defense education should be instilled into the kids soul, minds, even the bones. That’s how they use to describe to make this kind of education deeply inside into everyone’s consciousness. And after two days’ evaluation. CCP believes Beijing has established a solid and effective education mode to train kids. So they will promote those creative actions to all over China.
(10:03)
This is just an example to tell you how Chinese communist Party emphasizes the defense education. And also let’s see, what kind of exact education are promoted to the kindergartens little by little from that period. So here is another report about the kindergarten in Hangzhao, another big city in China, near Shanghai.
(10:33)
In 2021 this kindergarten … to celebrate the 100 years anniversary of CCP at the time, it organized the red education topic activities. And the title is, “Little Soldiers of People’s Liberation Army Inherit Red Culture.” With a lot of pictures recording the activities. Those five to six years old kids were trained in the military style to be very disciplined and show it on the playgrounds under the instructions of the real People’s Liberation Army officers. So these kids wearing the PLA uniforms learning the PLA posture, how to step, how to walk, how to march. And how to shout the slogans. So they’re really like the small soldiers of the military.
(11:31)
They also are taught to [..] as the People Liberation Army soldiers. And this training is pure disciplinary training. For all the PLA soldiers, they have learned from day one when they entered the army. According to very strict protocols, all the quilt has to be made very square, like a piece of tofu, and the corner has to be vertical, that there should be no any wrinkle on whatever side of this quilt. Briefly, you have to make the quilt, which is made of the […] and clothes, looks like a piece of wood with very smooth, flat surface.
(12:19)
You need to use it every night. So again the next morning, again you have to fold it, in a very short time, if not you will be punished. So this is to daily train you, be disciplined. Even this is something really make nonsense, you must do it.
(12:35)
And China is very proud of such training system they learned from Soviet Union. And also, the kids learning it, means that is to make the kid have this kind of discipline from childhood. Kids are also taught with red stories, red histories, as I have talked in the patriotic education in the other episode of the Voice of Dr. Yen.
(13:00)
Those red stories are made up to demonstrate the glory of CCP and the People’s Liberation Army. And the kids also learn to sing the red songs and that will make sure the stories and the spirit will be very impressed.
(13:17)
And the most important part of this event in that kindergarten is the battle practice outdoors. And this is also the very shocking part for me. Because these kids are taught by military officers to learn how to use different weapons which include hand grenades, different kinds of hand grenades, pistols, and even machine guns, including the M-4 and the Barrett model 95 machine guns.
(13:52)
The kids learn how to use these weapons. And also practice the shooting in a mimic style. And the whole event last for three days. The teachers of the kindergartens that this kind of training make all the kid have a PLA soldier idol in their heart. Which makes them be proud to be the little PLA soldiers.
So based on this example, you can see after five years’ promotion CCP has successfully made such patriotic education militarism education to be routine of the kindergarten education.
(14:33)
I feel shocking when I read such reports. Because, back to my childhood, as I grew up in a very big city in China, we never received such military training. In my kindergarten primary school period, there was no PLA officers came to train us, we never see the real weapons, and we never learn how to use the hand grenade and also the machine guns, pistols, we don’t mimic shooting.
(15:04)
But I know back to my parents’ generation as I said in Chairman Mao Zedong’s period, they learn how to use weapons because they were taught that there are a lot of enemies in the western countries, especially America. So as communist children, at that time you need to learn how to defend your country and also you want to initiate revolutions all over the world when you grow up, and you can take over the other western countries because they are bad, and they bully people. So you need to bring the communism all over the world, to change the world.
(15:46)
When you give kids this kind of military training, plus the weapon study, shooting study, all together your final goal is to train the kids to be the future soldiers, to let them believe that killing can be very useful as long as you face the enemies. The point is who is your enemy. So, when the kids are training to be disciplined, like I described in the previous kindergarten report, they’re actually training to receive the instructions — no matter what it is — from the officers, from CCP, from PLA.
(16:30)
And in this case, CCP and PLA can make the definition of the enemies. And in communist China, the enemies are never defined as the people who grab your private properties, grab your human rights, grab the democracy, grab the freedom. Is that the enemies is defined to be whatever organization, parties, even the people who are not agree, who don’t accept communism ideology.
(17:05)
Especially the United States, which is a leading country of the western civilized world, is a top enemy in CCP’s education. So by giving the similar education to the kids in nowadays, which means Xi Jinping has brought China back forward to the similar to Mao Zedong’s time. And that also means Xi Jinping is very aggressive and he has prepared from the beginning of his presidency, to brainwash, to train the young generations to be the militarists. it is part of the preparation of the war.
(17:48)
So after several years of development, in the defense red education, last year the central CCP, the state council and the central military commission have worked together to release another official document for Chinese defense education. It is a guidance to enhance and improve the universal defense education in the new era. And it requires the local to central government, all must need to put the universal national education to the priority.
(18:30)
And they have to establish the very strict structure in the system including the joint conference mechanism, training mechanism, report mechanism, assessment mechanism and also the surveillance mechanism. And everything is in charged by the party. Apparently CCP is satisfied with the achievement they have got from several years’ practice of the defense education in the schools and the kindergartens for the kids. So they also emphasize that the military training for the student for the children must be systematic. And this kind of education is basis of all the education in China. It also requires the establishment of the defense education tutor mechanism, which means to recruit the PLA officers, or retired PLA officers, to teach students from the childhood.
(19:33)
So after release of that guidance, people’s liberation army daily reported some very excellent example this April. it says, in Hunan province, which is a province with over 100 million population in […] Northern China, it has established the defense education collaborative mechanism between Hunan province military common and over 100 civil kindergartens in that province. So they caught those kind of kindergartens as military civil fusion kindergartens.
(20:12)
According to the military introduction, this kind of military-civil-fusion kindergarten has blend in all the red education into kindergartens education. Implanted the defense education to the kids in the kindergartens. And these 100 kindergartens have over 15,000 kids inside. They have learned how to become the little red army, little PLA soldiers, and these kids, from the moment they are recruited into the kindergarten — which is around 2 to 3 years old — they became the little soldiers.
(20:55)
So every month there will be the competition in the class to let the little soldiers complete to be the little officers. And how to be the little officers, that means you have to show the excellent behaviors and the disciplinary training in the brainwash education, learning how to be a good soldier in the People’s Liberation Army, learn how to love the CCP, how to be loyal to the CCP, and how to love this country which is dominated controlled by CCP.
(21:30)
Are all the values CCP give you. And they have designed the games. The games have all the red topics inside. For example, when you practice running, you practice like the red army did in the civil war. When you practice climbing, you learn how Mao Zedong brought the PLA climb the mountain and then occupy the new areas in China. When kids are listening to the story, when kids are watching movie, when kids are watching cartoons, all of these are made up deliberately designated to make sure the kids will have the strong impression that CCP is the greatest party and Chairman Mao Zedong and Xi Jinping they are the greatest leaders in the world, and especially Xi Jinping is so brilliant so wise, he love everyone, and he is leading the whole country, he’s leading the party, the military, towards the new era.
(22:32)
And also it is children’s responsibility to grow up and achieve the rejuvenation of great China in the world, as Xi Jinping taught. And like what happened in the […] kindergarten in 2021, kids in these kindergartens also learned how to use weapons. In the reports, the teachers, the military leaders, are very proud that the 5, 6-year-old kids in those kindergartens can smoothly introduce the weapons, the military equipments, and also they believe these are the great demonstration of all the kindergartens of the Hunan province.
(23:16)
By the way, there are 24,000 kindergartens with over 4 million kids inside. And within a short period all of these kids will receive such terrible red education. And this kind of education mode is promoted to all over China because it’s so effective, so organized, so systematic.
(23:43)
And furthermore, they are also developing the mechanism between the military and the family and the kindergarten, to make it the whole unit work together to train the kids to be the militarists. Frankly, it will be a huge disaster. Imagine, the new generation of China all cultivated to be militarists and brainwashed like robots to work for CCP.
(24:13)
It is to destroy the children. It is to destroy the future of Chinese, however CCP never care about that. What they want is just to recruit people, as many as possible, as efficient as possible. To serve for the politic goals. And the people’s war, as I always emphasize, means to use everyone — every Chinese people — to work for them in the war.
(24:42)
So, they won’t leave the children alone. In fact, when the children get brainwashed, they can be more capable, they can be more loyal, in the war they can be used, they can be consumable, like the bullet. And China never cares about human lives. Because from the moment they start to train the kids in China they have already determined[?] the future for the kids. Which means, you will sacrifice for the CCP in different areas, like the disciplined soldier, and you should be totally obedient, totally loyal to CCP, and that is the meaning of your whole life. And you should be happy when you get opportunity to donate your life, to donate everything you have to CCP.
(25:35)
And this is so evil. So let’s have a short rest and we will go back continuously talking about CCP’s defense education militarism education in kindergarten and in childhood. Also the details behind it.
[commercial break]
(31:26)
In the other segment we talked about since Xi Jinping’s presidency the red education have been enhanced since the kindergarten education, and also this is the way to cultivate the future militarists from the childhood in China. And we talked about how it gradually promoted into the kindergartens from Beijing to the local place, and also become the national policy until last year.
(32:00)
So, they have required establishment of the whole system to make sure the red education towards every kid. And of course they will establish a lot of mechanism to guarantee the operation of the red education.
In the […] kindergarten the most important people in charge of the education is definitely the head of the kindergarten. So first of all, I want introduce one article which is released posted on the Kindergarten health training network, this website, to teach the kindergarten head to operate the red education to be more efficient, to be more creative.
(32:50)
And to note, this website, is official website made by the ministry of education in China. It works with the other department of propaganda in CCP, This is the way to brainwash the kindergarten head, and also to deliver this propaganda to the teachers, to the parents, and to create the whole closed environment to brainwash the kids, to cultivate them.
(33:23)
So initially it talks about the red resources. So, what is red resources? It means all the materials which could reflect the CCP’s history and their revolution spirit. All these red resources have to be selected by CCP in advance, and then they will give you a list that you can only follow this list to teach the children. Because you have to make sure al the detail you give the kid will be consistent with CCP’s ideology and strategy.
(34:00)
The resources will include not only the literature, stories, movies, cartoons, it also includes like the parks, museums. So that’s why the children will not only contact the red education in the class, even during the holiday when they go out, they still could continuously receive the information through entertainment.
(34:25)
However, children in the kindergarten are too young to understand so much complicated contents. So how to combine this education into the proper way to make the children can accept it? This is a very big challenge for the kindergarten education. And that’s why, in this article, they provide a lot of message[?] the specific means for the kindergarten to have and to develop into the their practice.
(34:58)
That we know when the kids was 2-3 years old they even don’t know how to eat by themself, how to wear the clothes properly, they only can express their feelings using the very emotional way rather than the rational way. But CCP also understand it. That’s why, it requires the teachers to use kids’ emotion to conduct the red education.
(35:23)
And the most important emotion is, of course, love, but also hatred. In this case, initially they need to cultivate the kids to love the people around them. Like parents, and also love the home town, because you live here. And further, they will teach the kids to transfer this love to the country. Because they will teach you that if you don’t love the country, then your home town will not exist, and your parents have nowhere to live.
(36:00)
And the next step is to teach the kids to love Chinese communist party and the leader, now Xi Jinping, previously it was Mao Zedong. So in this case, once the love of the CCP is established, the kids would remember that without CCP, without the great leader of CCP, you don’t have the country, and then you don’t have the home town and then your parents cannot give you a good live.
(36:35)
As an independent thinking person, you definitely will understand the problem in such logic. However, back to China. You are not allowed to have independent thinking.
In school we don’t have logic lessons. Me when I was in school in 1990s, we never have any logic training. And all the things is to train you discipline, to be obedient, as I described in the last section. They’re using the military education to train kids from the kindergarten to make them accept everything given by the teacher, given by the […] people, without any question.
(37:21)
If you dare to ask a question without the teacher’s permission, and if your question is not consistent with the education — for example, if you think there’s something you don’t understand in the red story, like how could the soldier just stay hungry for so many days and also kill so many enemies, even they don’t have any bullet, and just use a knife, one soldier can kill hundred enemies? This doesn’t really make sense. So when you start to wonder, how would it happen? It is the trigger to the teacher to suppress you.
(38:03)
One hand is because all these stories are made up to just reflect the glory of CCP’s greatness, of CCP. And on the other hand, if you dare to ask a question, later you will ask more questions. How could they maintain the brainwash to you, and also how could they make sure you would grow up to be a very loyal warrior to CCP.
So that’s why, even started from the kindergarten, if the kid dared to ask questions, if the kid are not obedient enough, not disciplined enough, no matter, for whatever good reason, the teachers are trained to suppress them using punishment.
(38:48)
And this kind of punishment will make the kids humiliated. Will make the kids hurt. And more importantly, such punishment will create an impression to the kid that if I don’t want to be laughed by the other people, if I don’t want to be blamed by the teacher, if I want to get more things more awards from the teacher, more praise from the teacher in the future, then I should shut up.
(39:20)
So that’s why, little by little, the kids will lose the capacity and the courage to fight against anything abnormal, anything wrong. And actually they even lose this kind of capacity to make the judgment of the right or wrong. They will only accept what the government — what CCP — gives them. If today, CCP said US is your friend, then the teacher will let the kids know U.S. is a good country, Americans are our friends, we should be nice to Americans.
(40:00)
But, if tomorrow, China and America fight, and Chinese government is angry about America. So, the education will immediately be changed into hatred against America, against Americans. Teachers will teach the kids according to the instruction that Americans are all enemies, they are bad people, they can even eat you, they will hurt you, they will kill you. And you have to stay in China, and only CCP will love you and protect you.
(40:38)
And, yeah, I know this sounds very laughable. But this is really the stupid, the terrible education our kids receive from childhood in China. Especially in such a period that Xi Jinping has requested the education the improvement of such education from the kindergarten, and also they have made this kind of military civil future education from the childhood in China.
(41:12)
To note, China has already released more regulations and even laws to make sure this kind of education in every corner of society. So this is part of the surveillance mechanism. It means if the kindergarten teachers, especially the head of the kindergarten didn’t make sure the education going well in the children, and then you will be punished by law. So this is intimidation to the teachers in the kindergarten.
(41:48)
And for CCP’s perspective, punishment is always more powerful than encouragement. And to further make the kindergarten teachers understand how to use red resources in the education, the provide means and examples for the teachers. For example, in China, all the holidays can be the very good opportunity to give the red education to kids. Like there will be the birthday of the party, the birthday of the military, anniversary of the long march, also the anniversary of some big battles in CCP’s history.
(42:33)
All these holidays can give the opportunity to bring the kids to the museum, to the park, or organize the events like the competition of singing the red songs, the competition of the drawing the pictures showing your love to the Chinese Communist Party, like taking the photo to show how you love the country, and also read stories to tell people what you learned from these red stories. How much you love CCP after you listening to these stories.
(43:11)
This kind of activities are all given the special purposes by CCP because you should not waste any chance to instill this kind of ideology to children. There are some other things you can do, for example, you will be organized to the ceremony to give flowers to the heroes of PLA, and this PLA member can be the people who sacrificed in the Korean War against Americans. Also that was a war to make North Korea separate from the whole Korea and also North Korean people still living in famine, living in terrible, miserable status without human rights at all, but CCP would teach the kids that this is a great battle. And our top enemy is America.
(44:09)
See, American military are so bad, so brutal, they kill our soldiers in North Korea and the owe us hundreds of thousands of lives. And our soldiers died in North Korea to defend our country and if they don’t defend our country at that time, we will lose the country and CCP cannot protect you at that time.
So altogether when children see the pictures of the dead bodies, listen to the stories that how American army kill the brave PLA soldiers, and the teachers need to make the kids feel sad.
(44:53)
And then make them feel hatred. This hatred is against the American army in this example. And then the teacher will teach the kids, “see, how could you think about this, oh, they are bad, and you feel sad, right? These soldiers, they protect us, so we should appreciate them, right? And why do we appreciate them? Because without CCP there wouldn’t be such good army, and then there won’t be such brave soldier who sacrifice their lives to protect us, protect the nation, protect our hometown, protect our families, and that’s why we can live in a happy life now.
(45:38)
So then, finally, it successfully turn all this kind of sadness, all the hatred, to the love to CCP. And this is the very classic tactics in China to brainwash kids. So the head of the kindergartens got training from the official website, got the instruction from CCP.
So they will go back to the kindergartens and they will try their best to train their teachers to make sure this instruction can deliver to every teacher. For example, there is one report this year talking about a kindergarten group in […] which has established their own mechanism to train the teachers and to using the political thoughts to deepen their understanding of the red education, the patriotic education in kindergarten. To encourage them to be more creative and also to organize more activities to strengthen education.
(46:48)
And this is a competitive mechanism. This means the kindergartens belong to this group has to compete with each other. So there are different activities […] like defense, military, police, training week. Means to train the kids in the whole weeks to learn the things from the military, from the police, and to let kids go to visit the military factories. And they even make the weapon training all those things just a routine part of their education.
(47:22)
So you can see that during this kind of competition the teachers are pushed to improve, to create more styles in the red education towards the children, and the children have no other choice, they will train in the very intensive environment for the politic[al] purposes.
And the teacher has to work hard to study the CCP’s theories. Because they have to write a lot of articles, reviews, thoughts, after the lessons of the Xi Jinping thought and CCP theories. They have to pass the assessment for themselves. And all this kind of competition, of assessment is really related to the teacher’s career.
(48:16)
And this kind of very intensive work also makes the teacher has no time to rest, has no time to think well, has no energy to do anything else beyond what CCP want them to do. So you see, it’s not only the training, the brainwashing, the discipline to the kids, it’s also to the adults.
And this kind of report make me remind two examples happened in the terrorists organizations. For example, in 2016 the ISIS has developed and promoted a mobile app to children. And this app claimed to teach the kids know the Arabic letters. However, it has mixed the jihad topics into the app to brainwash the kids.
And this app initially can be downloaded from Android equipments. But when you examine it, you see that some games in the app, and also letters sound for children in the app all has used the jihad terms. And also to promote the militarism.
(49:31)
And another case also happening 2016 at that time the UK media has reported that they got some English textbook in ISIS which was made for the primary school kids. And inside there are a lot of implications about violence, war, and to brainwash kids.
So there are some cases for example it will show you a picture that has two timing bombs, and they will ask you what is the time now, as shown on the timing bomb.
There are also the questions to fill in the blank. It’s kind of, I can shoot, can I? Or, he can bomb, can he?
(50:17)
And in the lesson materials, the conversation is like, what would you like to be? I’d like to be a sailor. Why? I’d like to see many countries, what about you? I would like to be an Islam scholar. Why? To spread Islam in Japan. Oh, that’s a good idea.
More than that, in the document made by an Afghanistan producer, it has recorded the life in ISIS, ISIS-occupied area. In those kind of schools, the kids need to learn the brainwash education as well as the military training. So they will be trained how to use a hand grenade. And how to open it, how to throw it, and throw it to the infidels. And then — whoom — the infidel will be killed.
(51:08)
So these kind of hatred education plus the loyalty to the religion actually is really very similar to what is happening in China now. But it is no surprise. Because Xi Jinping always want bring China into a similar status as Iran, or North Korea. Because he believes that theocracy is so powerful to maintain stability of the dictatorship. So he has adopted a lot of experience from the terrorist organizations from countries like Iran, and North Korea, to teach the Chinese kids.
However Xi Jinping’s crazy actions, crazy thought, will devastatingly ruin the Chinese children, ruin the next generation in China.
For example, when ISIS was destroyed, the kids [who] grew up in the ISIS controlled area became a very big problem. In 2019, UK government rejected the jihad children come back to UK from Syria. Because they worry about the education these kids received from ISIS. And these kids, although they are victims, but they have totally different experience in their early childhood compared to other normal kids in UK.
(52:42)
Because many of children have received professional training to be the little soldier and to be the espionage working for the terrorist organization. And even some older kids have learned or even involved into the [..ing] activities. So this will create a huge risk to UK to the whole society.
So now the very serious question is, what will happen to these Chinese children in the future? We have seen that CCP start to use so many systematic operations, actions, regulations to force the whole society work together to brainwash kids. And also this kind of brainwash includes military training, even the weapon using and also the shooting, killing training. This will definitely leave the bad taste in the children’s mind.
(53:45)
People ask me, why cannot parents bring kids to church in China? Or why cannot the parents send kids to overseas to study? So this is a very realistic problem in China. First, there is no freedom of religion. Even there are some churches in China, but China government has already controlled all the religions. So as long as you’re a member of a legal religious organization, what you received is only the CCP modified version of the religious content. So the priests, the monks, the fathers, will tell you, love CCP, love the whole country. Tell you the nationalism, although they should give you the religious contents but it’s already mixed together.
(54:35)
And also they will do the same thing as the teachers do in the kindergartens in the school to your children. They will deliver this kind of militarism, nationalism, all this kind of education to your kids. So there is no difference in such religious organization in China compares to the schools. And it is very difficult for Chinese people to go overseas, especially if you’re not a CCP member’s family, or if you don’t have a lot of money.
(55:09)
So, the parents cannot afford the high education fee overseas until the kids grow up and can apply to get a scholarship from the universities by themselves. So these are all the very real problems happen in China. And CCP knows when this kind of problem happened, people have not much choice, and they have to stay in China, and they have to allow the government to brainwash their kid, teach their kid, because there is no freedom in China. As an ordinary person in China you always have very few choices or even no other choice.
